Chicago super emcee femdot has had an amazing run with his last two projects fo(u)r and thr(we). Both just blew me away with tons of creativity and dizzying lyrical skill. Everyone in Chicago took notice as it was featured all over the city’s most influential blogs. Flows For Days wasn’t up at that point so unfortunately I wasn’t able to post it.
I have to give back to one of my new favorite artists period, with the new music video for his collaborative track with Charles Lauste titled XXII. It’s the intro song to Charles’ EP XXII which I just listened to and enjoyed. Not only is XXII great, the video (directed by Cian Mallers and shot by Patrick Ryan Deasy of Stripmall Productions) is in total synch with the concept and sound of the track.
He’ll be performing at Double Door along with Logan Cage, Nyck Caution, Malcom London and more on October 27th. You can buy tickets here. Give thanks to fem for continuing to give out great content.
