Massachusetts MC Toniii Is Back With Impressive Self Produced Track “Anything Goes”
Massachusetts MC Toniii [formerly Tony Moreaux] took a break from music but is back in full force with new track Anything Goes. This is Toniii 2.0 – displaying a confident delivery, uninhibited lyricism and aggressiveness on the mic. He’s also grown in his hook game, offering a catchy, melodic chorus over dark production from Toniii himself. “Anything…

I’m Calling It Now – Daylight Tone Is Going To Be Huge Thanks To Debut LP “CTRL+ALT+DLT” (Artist Spotlight)
Daylight Tone is a newbie in releasing music – but there is a reason. Last month he dropped his first and only single in 100 (write up here) – an infectious blend of R&B, pop, and right on time rhymes. It came to my attention through FFD regular and producer Hanakatoba who made the beat for…

J.Lamar – “1UP” (New Music Video)
Who doesn’t love the classic story of an underdog? Though every obstacle may seem to be stacked against them, they fight and sweat their way to the top. Sometimes, even tears are shed along the journey. No matter the task set before them, there are never any excuses. Today, J.Lamar is THAT underdog. Now, I…

Matt Maratea Links With Souly Had For Light-Hearted Double Drop “Couple M’s”
Matt Maratea can do no wrong. Seriously. Everything he has sent me is pure gold – and always posted. The Western Massachusetts MC recently teamed up with NY native Souly Had for a new single AND visual to Couple M’s. Based on the title it may sound like a typical braggadocious track, and while elements do exist,…

DMV Veterans Born Unique and Pete Twist Drop Gritty Visual To New Single “Violent Violins”
The DMV hip-hop scene continues to impress me. That gritty, vintage hip-hop sound seems to be pouring out of the area, and I couldn’t be happier. Violent Violins from DMV veterans Born Unique and Pete Twist (aka Grime Lords) recently came to my attention, and they completely bodied that sound. Violent Violins is off their…

Rebel Legato Shares His 3 Years In The Making LP “Rebel Season”
We’re big fans of Rebel Legato over here at FFD. We weren’t expecting him to join new power group Tiny Chain Gang (Vantablac SOL, Will is Chillin’ producer Josh Grant and himself) but had no complaints. The E-Town native was also featured on our first compilation tape Riptide Vol. 1 – and easily grabbed the most streams out…

Cali MC Supreme Cerebral Is Out For Blood On Loose Cut “War Ready”
It’s one thing to brag and boast on the mic, but when you include an insane rhyme scheme, flow, metaphors, and pure bar for bar skill, it’s a totally different experience. This came to mind when listening to Cali MC (and Gold Chain Militant affiliate) Supreme Cerebral. His new track War Ready is pure intensity – Supreme is out…

Mountos Is Right By Your Side In New Visual “Here For You”
Among the negativity, drugs, violence, and promotion of such via social media, it’s nice to get a submission supporting ones who struggle with difficult emotions. Hitting our pages for the first time is Mountos, a straight to the point MC who aims to help his listeners through his music. His short but poignant new visual, Here…
