Discussing Gucci Mane and Zaytoven’s GucTiggy Series
Super producer Zaytoven has modernized and shaped southern trap music for years but has just begun to get the undivided attention he deserves. Back in 2013, he created a backdrop to arguably the biggest hit of 2013 – Versace with Migos. As we all know Drake liked it so much that he remixed the track, giving yet…

Duckwrth – Rare Panther + Beach House (New Track)
The best way to describe the Sad Money and ChannelTres produced track Rare Panther + Beach House is funky, love making hip hop. Duckwrth has a very nice track on his hands. The switch up around 3 minutes and 30 seconds with a woman spitting some spoken word rhymes is beautiful. What follows is some r&b crooning…

Cassius Tae – Shit To Lose (Video)
Cassius Tae really impressed me with this one. Submissions come my way pretty often, but I rarely enjoy music videos to this degree. The beginning of the Shit To Lose visual shows a clip of 2Pac speaking on the pressure put on him to create legendary music at such a young age. Audio from 2Pac can definitely…

Timaal Bradford – Everyone’s Doing It (New Mixtape)
Timaal Bradford has quiet a future ahead of him. The Mississippi native raps like’s got something to prove, especially on his new EP Everyone’s Doing It. With time, patience, and grind, I don’t think he’ll have any trouble convincing rap fans that he’s a full blow star in the making. He’s got flows for days…

Musa Reems – Another Dos(e) (New Mixtape + Review)
West side of Chicago group Children of I.L.L.I.O.S. have been featured on a slew of Chicago hip hop blogs such as Lyrical Lemonade, Elevator and These Days. Young guns Musa Reems, Kairo Jones and LUMO, who make up the group, more than deserve the recognition. They’ve been creating timeless music since their inception in 2012, and in 2014 dropped…

Saucelord Rich – Too Late (New Track)
Production duo FKi (Saucelord Rich + FKi 1st) have been creating bangers since their formation in 2007. Crafting hits for T.I., Juicy J, and YG, among others, they’ve worked with the best of the best. Today, Saucelord Rich goes the solo route and releases Too Late. This is a trippy, dark, drug infused song. The…
