Dizzy Wright feat. Audio Push – The Way We Live (New Track + Review)
Everytime I see Dizzy Wright’s name, I think of well known reggae artist Dizzie Rascal, therefore when I see Dizzy Wright featuring Audio Push, I think Reggae mixed with hyphy rap? That’s odd. Dizzy is clearly aggravated about people stealing his style, and he talks about it on this track. Though his lyrics display this…

Astonish feat. Chris Crack – Triple Beam (New Track)
I admit it I admit it (Drake voice). Chicago rapper Astonish dropped a very nice project about a year ago called The Who Tape. Jazz Cartier – Waste (New Track)
Toronto emcee Jazz Cartier continues to impress with new track Waste. The switch up at 2 minutes and 8 seconds is absolutely mesmerizing. A$ton Matthews – Desperado (New Track)
Desperado, the new single from A$ton Matthews, is full of intense energy and charisma. It doesn’t hurt that the production from Luca Vialli matches Brick’s one two punch. It’s equal parts braggadocious and pumped up muscle. This one premiered on Noisey Radio, specially on the popular Beats 1 music podcast featured on subscription service Apple Music. Desperado will…

Amon – Dreams Man (New Track)
We all struggle. A basic human element. Sometimes with money/jobs, emotions, relationships…well you know the rest. San Diego emcee Amon has released a track, Dreams Man, that conveys his struggles with all the above. Unlike a sub-genre of hip hop that I liked to call “struggle rap,” Amon puts this confusion and apprehension into every element of Dreams…

Mick Jenkins – Spread Love (New Track + Review)
Who’s ready for Mick Jenkins debut album ‘The Healing Component’? Anyone who says “nay” has cooties. The vibe, and the chorus for ‘Spread Love‘ is joyful, uplifting, and gentle. The song will make you feel optimistic about life, at a time when Donald Trump could win president (Yikes). The verses featured on ‘Spread Love’ is…
