In a recent Forbes magazine interview Kamaiyah told the publication she had absolutely no promotion for breakout video How Does It Feel. It garnered attention immediately back in October when it was released, and fans were eagerly anticipating a full length debut. They got just that this March with A Good Night In The Ghetto. Oakland native repped the Bay Area well, and it caught attention from Pitchfork naming it their almost impossible mark of Best New Music.
