The A.S.A. Project – All Night (New Track)
The A.S.A. Project is known for their “move your feet” tracks; especially in the city of Chicago. They can also slow it down for dark r&b tinged emotional bangers that will have you contemplating life. Take one look at the album cover for All Night, and you’ll get the gist of what it sounds like.…

International Maverick – Cubs Fitted (Video)
International Maverick reps the city of Chicago well with the new video for previously unreleased track Cubs Fitted. Maverick uses this video and his wordplay to narrate his life and his hope that someone catches on to his drive and music. Mission accomplished.

Alex Aff featuring Defacto Thezpian – TOTC (New Track)
I’ve posted Alex Aff quiet a bit on my previous blog, as he consistently put out quality music. Today is no different. TOTC is a track that has been in the vaults for awhile and I’m so glad he decided to let it loose. His good friend Defacto Thezpian is also featured. Both of them…

Rossirock -Agassi (New Mixtape)
West Coast emcee Rossirock has a history with tennis, hence the title of his newest full length project. He played in tournaments as a kid; and his Dad called him his “prodigy.” This all comes into play with Agassi, a personal and cinematic release. He dropped off loosies in the form of 19 & 55 and…

FXXXXY – 20 Taliband (New Track)
Holy shit. I have never heard something like this before. DJ Khaled intro, giving his least annoying adlib? I’m all for it. When 20 Taliband (produced by FXXXXY) starts in, you know you’re in for a treat. He lists it as #Trap music on his SoundCloud, but I’d argue it also incorporates alternative hip hop and r&b.…

JusSol – Problems And Pain (New Track)
I just got word of a new artist out of Chicago named JusSol. She sent me over her newest release, Problems And Pain. There is some deep reflection on this one, and it’s hard not to feel her sadness. She has her own unique sound on this track; think alternative r&b with a more prominent vocal…

Tye Motive$ – Diploma (New Mixtape)
Diploma EP is an excellent introduction to Milwaukee native Tye Motive$. He dropped some loosies about a year ago, but we’ve never gotten a full length from him. He majorly impresses in this project, winding feel good summer time tracks with trippy, drippy, and syrupy bangers. You can find drug related romantic mishaps throughout, but…

flowsfordays Interview with Ju Preach
We introduced Ju Preach to our readers a few days ago with the release of his track Notice. I’ve definitely taken notice (forgive the bad pun) and after the post I listened to his other two tracks, Act, and Kill It. I enjoyed them so much that I decided to reach out to the…
