Why Fi – Elysium (New EP)
You may be caught up in listening to Isaiah Rashad‘s new album, but we have another GREAT hip hop release on our hands in the form of Why Fi’s recent Elysium EP. Not only that, Isaiah and Why Fi are pretty similar artists in their beat selection, enjoyment of horns, flow and delivery. Fi even…

Logan Cage – I’ll Be Somewhere (Video)
Logan Cage can’t lose on his visuals. And how could he with JKrown filming. He’s been shooting his music videos since day 1, but I’ll Be Somewhere was a collaborative directing effort with Lucas Christian (Lucas Vision) contributing nicely. Flight on the boards again; everything comes together beautifully. JKrown recently dropped a short film that you can…

Jack Red – Homegrown (New Track)
A little soul to ease your mind this beautiful Friday in Chicago. Jack Red sings his heart out on his new release Homegrown; giving praise to the city that raised him. Here is what he had to say about the inspiration and concept for this one: The concept of embracing your history, has inspired my…

FXXXXY – Cartel Shawty #ANKCARTEL (New Mixtape + Extensive Review)
FXXXXY is a crawler. That’s the best way to describe his music. About a week ago we wrote on his out of this world track 20 Taliban. I knew EP Cartel Shawty #ANKCARTEL was coming out on the 31st but I never saw it on my SoundCloud feed and sadly I was too lazy to seek it…

Hodgy Beats – Dukkha (New Mixtape and Review)
There was a point in time that I thought Hodgy Beats was the best rapper on Odd Future, and suddenly, it seemed like he just disappeared.. Well Hodgy is back, and his new mixtape gets to go through the wrath of me! ANIME (4.7/5) The beat for ‘Anime’ is extremely chilled out! I’m talking laying…

Joe Trufant – Really Large Amounts (New Track)
I’m new to Joe Trufant (shout out to BluntIQ) but I’m loving this new track Really Large Amounts. Released literally 30 minutes ago, it’s a dreary instrumental with a juxtaposition of confidence in making that do-re-mi. There are similar sounding tracks out there, but I get the vibe this is EXACTLY the music Joe wants to…

K.A.A.N – Chill Bill + Harambe Remix (New Track + Review)
I don’t know if anyone will be able to touch these remixes from K.A.A.N. He went on a complete rampage dropping these two tracks. Each one contains bars with literally no space between; his rapid fire flow never slows down or ceases. On the Harambe instrumental off of Young Thug’s newest Jeffery tape he imitates Thug’s…

King Rosè – 210 (New Track)
23 year old King Rosè has been tested over and over again. You can hear it in his new track 210 which is the first installment in a 3 part story. His narrative is so engaging; I’ll definitely be looking out for the next two tracks hopefully coming soon. This is his first single off…
