Alex Aff feat. K-Hill – Everything (New Track)
We’ve got another one from Alex Aff. I subscribe to his newsletter and damn I’m glad I do. He is pretty active in sending content; but not at an annoying rate. Everything is a very honest track with a lot of personal information about Alex and his struggle amongst himself and his peers. I advise you…

Supreme Ace – Autopilot (Video)
We’ve got a breezy new music video from Supreme Ace in the form of Autopilot. The director Camera Lord does his damn thing with sunny shots that have a little flair. Supreme has dropped collaborative efforts in recent months with Curtis Williams, Jace, and many more along with a super EP titled Trill Influence. TI was…

Rikki Blu – War (New Track)
Rikki Blu releases content like crazy. Much appreciated from this hard working and talented LA emcee. In a mere 4 months he’s dropped his album Misc., EP +/-, and about 7 tracks (which you can hear on his SoundCloud.) We’ve got the cream of the crop here with new release War that depicts struggle and positivity. Rikki…

Luu Breeze – Kitties in Abundance (New Un-Released Track)
Free download on un-released material from Luu Breeze? I’ll take it. Luu has given us a treat with track Kitties In Abundance which I can only assume refers to what we are all thinking. He raps and croones about the abundance of beautiful (and DTF) women in his city. At least he’s honest. He gets…

Xavier & The Thrill – Thrill (New Mixtape)
Eccentric Chicago artist Xavier & The Thrill (Formerly XVRHLDY) has come through with a 14 track blessing of an EP called Thrill. Xavier described the project as: “A psychedelic time trip between early 80s Hollywood nightlife & present day. A tale of Money, Drugs, Sex, Neon Lights & Everlasting Life.” After one run through I’d have to…

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie – Not A Regular Person (Official Music Video + Discussion)
I have a newfound love for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Fuck the hate, comparisons and discussions. Seems these days if you’re hated on, you’ve made it. But I digress… His tape Artist is my most played project (front to back) of the last 6 months (hey, Jeffery and Prima Donna just dropped). The odd, melodic hip…

Yung Stakks – In My Own Lane (New Mixtape + Review)
In June of 2015 Fakeshoredrive.com posted track Stakk Money from Chicago artist Yung Stakks. I had heard it around the city, a few snippets, some talk and hearsay. At that point I knew it was finally time to press play. And I did exactly that. It automatically became my most played song that summer; I…

Jae Haze – Numbers (New Track)
Uh…song of the week? Chicago’s R.A.N. Nation member Jae Haze goes incredibly hard on his first track in 3 months, Numbers. The beat is menacing, the flow is unique and in your face. There are rhymes for days and they continue on without hesitation for the almost 4 minute track. The sound is similar to Numbers…
