UK Emcee K.I.N.E.T.I.K. & Switzerland Producer Soulseize Remind Us To Relax on ‘Park Bench’
Another day, another drop from ILLECT Recordings. This time we’ve got a laid back reflective piece from Emcee K.I.N.E.T.I.K. (UK) and producer Soulseize (Switzerland). The guys over at the label are always on point with the artists they co-sign, and this duo is no different. On Park Bench, K.I.N.E.T.I.K. takes a pew on an undisclosed park…

FFD Premiere: Jim Swim & Blookah Drop ANOTHER Classic Split Single in “Brakes Off/ Way Past Three
Rapper Jim Swim & producer Blookah are a match made in heaven. This May they dropped split single Flex On Me/A Million. Excerpt of my write up below: Flex On Me/A Million is pop fueled ditty showcasing Swim’s lyrical skills over Blookah’s electrified backdrops. The result is a quality blend of hip-hop with atmospheric tranquility. A…

Jim Swim and ADE – ‘Movie’ (New Track)
In early June, I wrote about Jim Swim and ADE’s She’s An Artist. I expressed: this is their most danceable loosie yet, an ode to powerful women everywhere, complete with a fitting Gemini shout-out during their season. Nomis & Producer KDaGreat Make Magic on Mind-Blowing New Track ‘Atlas’
A few months ago, California’s own Nomis participated in a cypher with an overflow of talented emcees. Each artist rhymed like it was their last breaths, and I was impressed, to say the least. Big thanks to Joe Ayinde, J. Crum, Nomis, Czar Josh, Thomas Iannucci and Shiwan for giving me something new to add to…

Freshly Minted Duo Sareem Poems & Newsleph Deliver Once Again On New Track ‘No Fly Zone’
This past August I had the joy of receiving The Life, a fresh joint with Sareem Poems on the mic and Newsleph on the boards. The freshly minted duo have an undeniable chemistry that brings forth the soulful musings of life itself, whether peaches and cream or gravel and stones. The pair is back again…

Macntaj Pays Homage To Happy Gilmore In Hilarious New Music Video ‘Manny Fresh’
A blow your back out track, Mannie Fresh references, and a fresh to death rapper wearing a du-rag on a golf course to pay homage to Happy Gilmore? I’m all in, and you should be too. Macntaj, a Seattle by way of Sacramento MC, recently dropped his debut LP Trappy Gilmore 2 that shows him at his…
