Skipp Whitman – Freest’aisle (New Track & Video)
Skipp Whitman has done it again! FFD has featured the California MC at least a dozen times, but Freest’aisle may be his most impressive yet. If you’ve been keeping up with his output, it’s common knowledge that he is a master at putting together music videos that NEVER grow stale. ‘Freest’aisle shows Skipp grocery shopping while…

Mani Jurdan – REVOLUTIONARY SUICIDE (New Track)
It’s been a year since ‘Da Conscious Savage’ AKA Mani Jurdan has released a new tune, and god damn it was worth the wait. Mani has sharpened his sword on new track REVOLUTIONARY SUICIDE; a deep dive into the mind of the Huey Gang affiliate. Titled after a book by minister Huey P. Newton, Mani…

FFD Premiere: Gold Haze – Came Up (New Music Video)
Gold Haze has put out a plethora of diverse content in the last few years. He is no one trick pony, and always has new ideas, concepts, and surprises up his sleeve. Haze can make content heavy records, reflective pieces, anthems, odes to loved ones, and now, the slickest of visuals. Came Up is his…

Exclusive FFD Interview With NoFace, Rapper – “The only reason I started rapping was because of artists who were able to paint pictures, tell stories, and capture emotions through words”
NoFace, Rapper and flowfordays have an extensive history. It was in 2017 that I received (and posted) his first submission, and immediately noticed the depth of his potential. Less than a month later he dropped his uplifting, yet emotionally vulnerable EP Never Fear Rejection. At that time I rarely wrote reviews, but after first listen…

FFD Premiere: Ruste Juxx, King Magnetic, Explizt and Illa Ghee – ‘Class Is In Session’ (New Track)
I’ve hosted hundreds of premiere’s on FFD, but none have been more exciting than last months’ collab with Ruste Juxx and M-Dot. As I enter my late 20’s, I’ve developed a personal relationship with gritty, unfiltered, and lyrically potent hip hop, which is why today’s premiere is just as hype worthy. After a brief hiatus,…

West Coast Artist Macntaj Returns From International Tour With The New Single “Live Enough”
Aren’t we all a little crazy? Artists are able to channel that into their music, while us common folk have to listen to tracks that mirror whatever we are going through. I needed to hear Macntaj today. The West Coast rapper has had an amazing run this year, hitting XXL.com, collaborating with Gunplay, and even…

Portland Artist Sour Deez Goes Extraterrestrial In Visual To ‘UFO’
Creativity. The word has lost all meaning for me in the last two years – at least within the hip hop stratosphere. But when I see glimpses of it I do all I can to spread the word. A perfect example comes from Sour Deez, a well-established Portland MC who has opened for the likes…

Cool Nutz Drops Visual To His Ode To Envy and Greed – ‘Troutdale’
Cool Nutz is the best rapper name I’ve heard in awhile. Props. Luckily, he’s also a dope MC who has bars for days. Just peep his Troutdale visual, an ode to jealousy and envy. Nutz is shown ironically browsing at a dope streetwear store while rhyming about individuals who cop expensive clothes and still feel empty…
