Sareem Poems, Newselph, and Ozay Moore Are At It Again With New Single -‘Piece Of Peace’
Sareem Poems, Newselph, and Ozay Moore are at it again with another smooth, lyrically apt single. Piece Of Peace is off Sareem & Newsleph’s recent full-length, 88 to Now. BY now (pun intended) you should know that their collaborations are always on point. They’ve been teasing this project for a while now, and the singles I’ve posted are…

Snowy Joey Displays Versatility In New Track ‘Did Something’
At the end of Snowy Joey’s latest record, Did Something, he adlibs “you know how n***** be talking they stuff on songs, know what I’m saying, just saying nothing but they saying a lot…a lot of nothing.” Clever and adapt wordplay from the Chicago representative, and FFD regular. Snowy has made a steady rise in the city’s…

Rising Talent Spotlight: Lonely Together
A music duo out of the Pacific Northwest has changed the way I think about music. It all started with ZAK, one half of the aforementioned group, who has put out a slew of records in the last few years. Uni BLK Asks Preacher For Forgiveness In New Music Video ‘Save Me’
Uni BLK is a name I haven’t come across in my blogging career, but the wait was a far better introduction to the rapper. Save Me is a shocking display of a man airing out his sins with contempt, but not in the traditional way. Anxiety and depression often consume Uni, choked by his own…

Freshly Minted Duo Sareem Poems & Newsleph Deliver Once Again On New Track ‘No Fly Zone’
This past August I had the joy of receiving The Life, a fresh joint with Sareem Poems on the mic and Newsleph on the boards. The freshly minted duo have an undeniable chemistry that brings forth the soulful musings of life itself, whether peaches and cream or gravel and stones. The pair is back again…

FFD Premiere: Jordan Caesar & Bianca – ‘August’ (Music Video)
Rarely do I find myself with tears welled when a rapper comes out with a love song. The difference between Jordan Caesar’s and well…anyone else’s is how it completely embraces relationships. There is no corny ‘I want to fuck you’ vibe or outlandish ‘you fucked me over’ or ‘I am so happy we met’ corniness.…
