Rarely do I find myself with tears welled when a rapper comes out with a love song. The difference between Jordan Caesar’s and well…anyone else’s is how it completely embraces relationships. There is no corny ‘I want to fuck you’ vibe or outlandish ‘you fucked me over’ or ‘I am so happy we met’ corniness. August is as down to earth as it gets which includes the video itself.

Two wonderful artists come together, one rapper/storyteller, one vocalist who exudes light and ease, and lay outside in the Chicago sun, are up on rooftops at night, and cannot believe they’ve found one another. True bliss, and an amazing song at that.
