Geno and Torrence LaMont – Guillotine (Video)
The powerful duo of Geno & Torrence LaMont just dropped their stellar music video to Guillotine. They’ve been at it for awhile dropping mixtapes, visuals and singles across the map. This is one of their hardest tracks yet and it is accompanied by an equally lit visual shot by Lawbeatz. Both emcees are also a…

Simba Amir – Used To This (Remix)
Upon first listen I didn’t like Future + Drake’s HUGE single Used To This. It might have been because I saw the music video first. Then I saw it all over my friends snapchats and decided to give it another listen as an audio track. It hit me much differently at that point and now…

D. Graves (feat. Lo K) – Black Clouds (New Track)
One of my favorite rising stars out of Chicago is D. Graves. Find The Beat, his well received single, was even featured on out 50 Favorite Loosies out of Chicago in 2016. I highly recommend you check out the song as it’s an energetic alternative take on hip hop (below.) Black Clouds has just dropped and was premiered via…

I.L Will + Mikey Dollaz – Brothers (Video)
Chicago mainstays I.L Will and Mikey Dollaz just dropped a fierce video to their booming song Brothers. Their chemistry is undeniable which has been clear as they’ve hit us with a few collaborative EP’s before. They’ve also been doing music videos for years (here’s one of my favorites) so it’s never a question that when…

Marco Pavé – Cake (The Best Music Video You’ll See All Day)
This is the best music video you’ll see all day. Promise. Director Bart Shannon, (of Via Productions) and Director of Cinematography Ryan Earl Parker totally killed it. The visual to Marco Pavés Cake features incredible black and white dancing from the M-Town Image along with a compelling storyline with some great actors. Of course Marco brings the energy…

Wil Akogu (feat. Mayowa) – Days Of Our Lives (New Track)
Promising Chicago artist Wil Akogu delivered an amazing EP at top of this year that really spoke to me. (Last years The Most Valuable Poet was dope too.) This years’ drop was titled Language Of The Soul (below) which featured beats influenced by a host of genres including rock, alternative and funk. There was so much emotion…
