imyNoah – Go (New Track + Review)
Welp – we’ve found another killer rapper out of Chicago. There’s even better news…imyNoah is a student at my almamater Columbia College. He is only 18 years old, but creates music like he’s been recording for years. The producer of his new song Go is a South looper named Ignite, who has been dropping heat…

EJAAZ – Naptown (Video)
Indianapolis native EJAAZ favors quiet production. His music can be cold and full of empty space. He’s dropped project after project with these esthetics, including my favorite, Lil Darling. He’s upgraded his sound for the first single off his upcoming project in Naptown. EJAAZ provides more relatable subject matter, better vocals and the perfect amount of voice manipulation.…

Late Night SoundCloud Finds Of February 21st
Daniel Cruz – overthecounter I heard this song at 1am, and as soon as the bass hit I grabbed my good speakers and went crazy. I put overthecounter on repeat for a good hour, turning up in my bedroom, trying to find a reason to turn it off. Nevada isn’t know for their hip hop,…

In track Don’t Blink off the project, he exclaims he “does it for the culture,” which…

Cadillac CAT – Go (Video)
Just yesterday Cadillac CAT dropped an impressive video for a song off his new EP 4 No Reason. It’s an impressive project, showcasing Cat’s best work with diverse production and subject matter. Go is at the tail end of it, and one of my favorite records. It’s a pretty simple visual with a look into Cadillac’s every…

Donte Tidmore – Farewell (New Track)
Milwaukee up and comer Donte Tidmore was very forthright about wanting feedback on his new song Farewell. He told me even if I didn’t post it he wanted to know my honest opinion. It’s refreshing to hear that as a blogger – as it shows Donte is more focused on getting better as an artist…

Notable Music Videos Of February (So Far)
Zheep – Like Glue (Erykah Badu) + It’s Whateva Zheep has become one of my favorite artists out of Baltimore. I keep up with his Instagram Story Feed regularly (he recently posted some un-released material that sounds fire.) He hasn’t put out a bad music video yet, evident by his over 1K subscribers on YouTube.…
