Wellium – BEL1EVE (Exclusive Premiere + Interview)
Prior to this interview, I wasn’t familiar with Wellium or his music. It was really too bad as he’s not only a unique artist – but a creative soul. He reached out to me in early March giving me a full synopsis of his upcoming project titled BEL1EVE. It wasn’t your typical email – with very organized information on the…

Maajei Vu – Mixed Feelings (New Track)
We’ve gotten to know Maajei Vu and his music for a few months now – and he’s never steered us wrong. Whether he’s singing or producing, he always puts out quality content. I love how he isn’t satisfied with just putting out a few loosies here and there. In the last 3 months alone he’s…

Kay Smith – Do We Have A Problem?? (New Track)
Kay Smith’s newest track Do We Have A Problem??’s is a gem. The cover art was a selling point for me – urging me to press play. The movie Boyz In The Hood is a classic, and Kay’s song ends with a snippet from Doughboy, bringing the entire song together. He brags and boasts with conviction, without taking…

LIP! – Wishes + Aspirations (New Track)
LIP! is an unorthodox rapper. He pushes himself to incorporate different genres into his music, such as industrial, electronic and of course hip hop. Mpulse – Cool With That (New Track)
My man Mpulse is back with another gem in Cool With That. He continues to show his ability to switch up flows and subject matter, most impressively on his last 3 drops. Legendary producer Don Cannon has worked with him before, but only as a co-producer. In CWT, he is given full control over the beat, giving…

C$ – #ProjectWave (New Mixtape + Review)
DOWNLOAD HERE Chicago’s C$ has always been a lyrical cat. If you’ve been with us for awhile, you might remember our dissection interview with him based off his single Brand New. I was so blown away by the track that I immediately reached out to him. Just a month later he released Dial Tone, another…

Khairi Tahir – Promise (Nobody Else) (Prod. 808louie)
“The way you kiss me, girl don’t kiss nobody else. I ain’t gonna lie, I want you to myself. The way you love me, girl don’t love nobody else, don’t love nobody else.” Holy smokes. The newest release from 17 y/o Khairi Tahir wastes no time in getting one deep into his or her emotions.…

Aleana – SOS (Prod. Ka-Yu) (New Track)
Philly’s own Aleana beckons to the hearts of all men in her most recent work “SOS.” The beat, produced by Ka-Yu does an excellent job of putting one in a tropical atmosphere – setting a calm and peaceful scene. Her angelic voice captivates its listener like a siren lures sailors into shipwreck. The song grasps…
