Philly’s own Aleana beckons to the hearts of all men in her most recent work “SOS.” The beat, produced by Ka-Yu does an excellent job of putting one in a tropical atmosphere – setting a calm and peaceful scene. Her angelic voice captivates its listener like a siren lures sailors into shipwreck. The song grasps one, forcing one to listen to its overbearing message that seems to be a cry for help.

Overall a solid track that I cannot seem to stop playing. I am very excited to hear more from Aleana, who says she is working very hard on something new.

 Aleana is performing this Sunday, March 26th, 2017, at the Mix 365’s event called She. Accompanied by a an all woman house band, the event aims to showcase women and their many talents, truly finding a way to stand with very important people at a time in our lives where women already deal with an abundance of adversity. If you’re in the West Philadelphia area (4292 Parkside Avenue) this weekend, be sure to stop by, as it will be an event displaying some of Philly’s best underground Talent.
