Samron Agnew – Benz (New Track)
Confession: I’ve recently gotten into experimental/rock influenced (or whatever you want to call it) hip hop. Guys like smokepurpp, Craig Xen, Kosi The Trill, Unotheactivist, etc. Judge me in whatever way you’d like…I’m enjoying it and bump it daily. This intro is necessary as I’ve found a lot of similar songs via SoundCloud. I took…

Limm – The Effect (New EP)
My very good friend Noah from the Huff Sucks Blog told me about Limm’s debut album well before he premiered it on his blog. He gave a great review of the EP so it’ll be hard to live up to it. While I didn’t love every song on The Effect, the project as a whole…

Simba Amir – Used To This (Remix)
Upon first listen I didn’t like Future + Drake’s HUGE single Used To This. It might have been because I saw the music video first. Then I saw it all over my friends snapchats and decided to give it another listen as an audio track. It hit me much differently at that point and now…

Wil Akogu (feat. Mayowa) – Days Of Our Lives (New Track)
Promising Chicago artist Wil Akogu delivered an amazing EP at top of this year that really spoke to me. (Last years The Most Valuable Poet was dope too.) This years’ drop was titled Language Of The Soul (below) which featured beats influenced by a host of genres including rock, alternative and funk. There was so much emotion…

Ocean Baileux – Can You Meet Me? (New Track)
Asha O-Ren recently sent me her stunning new song Stars. (which we posted) I heard some beautiful vocals at the end. I noticed the song featured a girl named Ocean Baileux, and after some investigation we linked on Twitter immediately. She very kindly just shared her newest track Can You Meet Me? I knew she was someone to…
