Xavier Clark – DENXM (EP)
We’ve got another “better late than never” post. DENXM by Indianapolis’ Xavier Clark was released in the beginning of February, but I missed it. We covered his excellent Arlo EP back in November, and this follow up is impressive. It is the one of the best full lengths I’ve heard on SoundCloud this month, hands down. There…

Sig Da Gaud and Dertesounds – GAUDSOUNDS (New EP + Review)
An artist working with one producer on an EP can often bring good results. Said artist working with one producer that’s also a close friend can be a nightmare. They may have decided to collab just because they are friends. But, when this is done right, each brings out the best in one another. This is the…

Joel Q – Never Enough (Video)
It’s been awhile since Chicago spitter Joel Q has hit us with something new, but the hiatus is over with his new visual and track to Never Enough. A lot of ground is covered, with themes of society’s fixation on materialism, the ups and downs of relationships, and his desire to make it in the…

FULMETALPARKA$ – Flame Princess (The Best Music Video You’ll See All Day)
If you haven’t caught wind of FULMETALPARKA$, now is the time to get in tune. The rising star out of Virginia has been steadily increasing his follower count on SoundCloud, Twitter, YouTube, and the like. He is a signifiant presence in the VA scene, contributing trippy visual, dark production, and some crazy mixtapes. His sound is progressing,…

JXHNSCXTT – WTRCLRS (Exclusive Premiere + Interview)
Before you listen to JXHNSCXTT’s new instrumental tape, take a long look at the cover art. Acknowledge the title. Before pressing play on my early listen to WTRCLRS, I did both, and it made the experience even more special. JXHN has a number of EPs and albums under his belt, but before this release JXHN began…

KuuL – L.W.L. (produced. by Statik Selektah) (New Track)
KuuL certainly linked with a legend on his new Statik Selektah premiered record. The New York rhymer seemed to know this – and gave his best effort over the legendary producer’s instrumental. He flourished in his performance, shooting off complex rhymes, and seemingly effortless wordplay. He’s released 2 songs in the last month, but this is him…

André Molina – hmu. (New Track)
André Molina has been hyping up his new song hmu. for some time now. I was curious to know if it would be worth the promo. The track dropped yesterday and it’s already gotten over 1.2K spins. What’s more – it’s great. The New Jersey rapper and singer/songwriter is a master of creating memorable songs, combing…

Benji (feat. Gray) – Onto Something (New Track)
I tweaked on this post. Benji dropped a dope record over 2 weeks ago, and I forget to give it some shine. Looks like he didn’t need my help, as the song has over 800 plays, 58 likes, and 24 reposts. Throughout Onto Something, both Benji and featured artist Gray strongly state that this music…
