Less than a month ago we spotlighted an incredible NC emcee named C. Shreve. He had just put out a song with lyricist Mike L!VE, and we spoke on the incredible chemistry between the two. Thankfully another record has surfaced titled Family Tree. The name is an ode to their Free The Optimus collective that they describe…

HavenRap – You (Video)
HavenRap, an artist out of Indiana, does melodic/hip hop music right…just peep his SoundCloud. With just under 2K followers, he’s making a lot of noise not just in his homes-state, but all over the word. The numbers are impressive, but even more impressive is his newest music video, You. It’s rare that I relate to a song as much as Conflictin. KeVon’s new song came into my inbox at the perfect time, as I’ve been questioning whether I can make a living off this blog. I loved his Money Aint A Thang freestyle so much that I included it in my top songs and videos of February. The second comes today in a freestyle to the classic Dipset Anthem…

Prizm – Lay Me Out (New Track)
We don’t get many submissions from guys out of Minneapolis, (this actually may be the first time) so this is a welcomed surprise. I’m not as familiar with the hip hop scene out there as I’d like to be, so I’m glad I’m starting somewhere. It might be a little controversial to describe this new song…
