Interview with AWillThaGreat on new track ‘Goin’ Up’ (Dissection Interview Series)
Another day, another Dissection. Today we have Milwaukee native AWillThaGreat with us talking about Goin’ Up, one of my favorite tracks of the week. I have no doubt my readers will enjoy the song and his answers. On a side note AWill is such a nice and humble guy and I really enjoyed our emails back…

Adam Reverie – The Emancipation (Video)
Soul Ties was a gem; a project full of passion and soul. The last track, The Emancipation, was arguably the most emotional and heartfelt on the album. Adam dropped the music video to the song a few days ago and it’s been getting steady posts on music blogs everywhere. He sheds tears and details a…

Jon Waltz, my introduction to his music + Riot (New Track)
My introduction To Jon Waltz dates back to 3 years ago when I heard Bang for the first time. I believe it was on Pigeons & Planes where they were showcasing up and coming artists they believed would make it big (I forget the exact article name.) It was a rough sketch, not mixed or mastered. But…

We will mostly be focusing…

Matt Whise – Eternal Life (Beautiful Death Pt. 2) (New Track)
This is some ignorant shit and I couldn’t be happier to hear it. It’s around 2:30pm in Chicago, I’m at my favorite coffee shop in Lakeview, have had WAY too much caffeine, and am getting buckets after buckets of beer with my friend tonight. I have to start getting in the mood. Back to the music. Eternal…

FAMOU$ – You Ain’t Twin (Video)
I listened to You Ain’t Twin from FAMOU$ when it dropped a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it; but I decided to pass. He sent me the official music video this morning and now I have no idea what I was thinking. The video definitely enhances the song thanks to videographer Pat Banahan (Of Lost TV…

Malcolm London – OPIA (New Album)
You know those albums that just make you feel good? It’s like sunlight in an otherwise stormy string of mixtapes, albums and tracks. Stormy in the sense of emotionless lyrics, booming production, and every song sounding the same. There is a big time and place for that (and as I’ve written before I’m very drawn to that…
