Mpulse – Television (New Track)
Should Mpulse have a submission limit? It would be easier to stop him from hitting my inbox if he had some flaws in his 52 Week series. If you’re unfamiliar with what he’s blessing us with, he will be dropping a new track every week for 52 weeks. Television is week 11 of the campaign. He’s also, selflessly, giving…

Carto – SorryForTheW8 (New Project)
We’ve been itching to post a remix tape for awhile now; and today is the day. Carto hit our inbox this morning with SorryForTheW8. It’s an ode to Lil’ Wayne who is Carto’s favorite rapper. The Chicago producer puts his spin on popular songs such as Lil Uzi’s Top, Lil Yachty’s One Night and 21 Savage’s…

Ras – OG (New Track)
We’ve got a new joint from a promising new Milwaukee emcee named Ras. He’s been dropping some loosies off his SoundCloud for about a year now, but OG is his finest offering. It’s smooth, level headed, and enjoyable. Let’s hope he has some more in the vault to share with his growing audience.

Godbody Jones + James Onyx Casher – Blue (Video)
Godbody Jones and James Onyx Casher seem to channel the devil in the music they create. Just take a listen to the “M” EP that hit SoundCloud a few weeks ago. The duo recently dropped the music video to one of the cuts on the project titled Blue. Without surprise, it doesn’t veer from their dark sound. Director Quintin…

Lordapex – Smoke Sessions Vol. 1 (New EP + Artist Spotlight)
UK artist Lordapex has been making outstanding music since his 2015 EP EP Hyōkō Meisō. His output is insane…in the last year alone he’s given us 9 projects. Each one has a concept at the forefront, everything from the Cosmos to sampled vinyl to “smoked out music.” Smoke Sessions Vol. 1 hit the web a 2 weeks…

flowsfordays Presents: Our 10 Favorite Instrumental Albums of 2016
As each year goes by I see more and more music blogs overlooking hip hop instrumental albums. It’s disappointing to see as many of them are just as intricate and conceptual as albums with lyrics. We’ll always have Donuts, Endtroducing…, and Petestrumentals, but producers around the world are serving up platters of straight up instrumental caviar across the…
