John Q + SuCoo – SupaQ (New EP)
I’m a little late to the party that is Supa Q. The duo is made up of John Q and SuCoo of All My Homies (an artist collective, record label and radio station.) The team up has resulted in the smoothest hip hop EP in recent memory. It’s easy to compare the SupaQ EP as “an…

Josh K – Black Balloon (New Project)
After dropping off a few loosies with Chicago staples such as King Louie, Chicago crooner Josh K has released his full length LP Black Balloon. It was definitely worth the wait. I’ve written about how stale r&b has become and how hard it is (personally) to stick with a track, let alone a full album.…

WNDBRKN – Night Time (New Instrumental)
An instrumental piece hasn’t hit our pages in quiet some time…thankfully WNDBRKN has given us a goodie. Night Time is a short cut, but fits it’s title well. I imagine the most effective place to play this is a on a late night walk, preferably through some dark woods. A few days ago WND gave us…

WillThaRapper – 20K (Video)
WillThaRapper never disappoints, especially in the visual category. We’ve spoken before on his tireless efforts to put out videos at a rapid pace. It’s hard to keep up which is a great problem to have. We try our best to give thanks to this guy. Will recently dropped his 20K music video and as usual…

Mpulse – Start It Over (New Track)
Mpulse’s winning streak is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before from an emcee. In week 13 of his 52 week series he drops off a more heartfelt track in Start It Over. The song is entirely self produced (which happens often) and speaks on the music industry that can often be a fickle business (for…

Amon – Amen (New Track)
📸: @threehoursago Another positive message from one of my favorite discoveries, Amon. Amen may be my favorite track from the San Diego emcee that can’t seem to lose. It’s definitely an r&b track, but has a classic sound and a melodic chorus. With that being said, he raps his ass off as always. Once again…

Steve Flacco – Summerslam 1998 (Video)
San Antonio’s Steve Flacco is dropping his Stone Cold Steve Austin tape pretty soon, and to help build his buzz he’s released the official music video to single Summerslam 1998. It’s pretty apparent Steve is a WWF fanatic as the visual includes clips of the matches. What’s even more impressive are the amount of clips involved in…

Roo$ki – Coming 4 Blood (New Track + Video)
In one day alone Chicago’s Roo$ki has hit us with the audio and video to his recent track Coming 4 Blood. Producer Rob$urreal sets the tone with a haunting and melodic beat which Roo$ki flows over. The video shows his “I don’t give a fuck attitude,” which adds to the gritty video shot by Zack Matias.…
