Destiny Roberts + Nsikak – Free Your Mind (Video)
When we posted Destiny Robert’s song Free Your Mind (featuring Nsikak) I never in my wildest dreams thought a video would be coming soon. We previously spoke on how positive and heartwarming the track was, and without surprise, the visual is just the same. Destiny looks to be a gentle soul, always smiling and always happy to…

Mpulse – Boomin’ (New Track)
Last time we posted Mpulse I said it was my favorite track off of his “52 Week”campaign. Well…I didn’t know Boomin’ was coming. This track is completely bananas. The beat by Keef Boyd is crazy and Mpulse knew exactly what to do with this type of instrumental. He speaks on his doubters and how far he’s come since…

Gee$ (feat. JuAn Gusto) – Conspiracy Theory (New Track)
In the first few bars of Gee$’ new drop Conspiracy Theory he flat out tells us “people @ me on Twitter saying my flow is retarted.” There isn’t really an argument to be made on that. Seriously. Listen to his discography and most importantly this track. The song is very relevant after this fucked up…

JU$ -Mental Scriptures (New EP + Review)
I’m new to JU$ of the iCoastra Nostra collective, but he’s given a damn good first impression with his recent EP Mental Scriptures. If you want a good taste of the project, give JU$ about 2 minutes of your time and listen to the intro. It’s a spoken word piece, full of loss and honesty. The line “I literally gave…

Ye Bandz – Time Slippin’ Away (Video)
Ye Bandz is a well known underground cat in the Chicago hip hop scene, but hasn’t been consistently active for some time. Well, he’s back, and ready to put out some new content. We’ve gotten a freestyle along with some loosies (this being my favorite) but things are really starting to heat up with the official…

MarleyDontShootEm – SorryNotSorry Freestyle (Video)
And we back… Following the worst week long sickness I’ve had in a long time, the blog is back. We’re starting off things right with the new freestyle video from MarleyDontShootEm. It’s shot by LVTR Djay and was premiered on influential Chicago hip hop blog Illanoize. The song is a dark and down tempo piece with Marley…

OHENRY – The Way You Are (New Track)
To be honest, not a lot of r&b impresses me these days. Of course I love guys like Bryson Tiller and Anderson .Paak as they have continued to prove they can make full bodies of work and stay true to their sound. But with most of this genres output, I find myself becoming bored. OHENRY…

Gold – On Go (New Track + Review)
We’ve highlighted a host of different hip hop since the inception of flowsfordays. Some melodic, some dark, others straight lyrical goodness. The farthest stretch we’ve gone into the experimental, hard on the ears music is the Adamn Killa tape we posted A WHILE back. Today we have the oddest sounding submission we’ve ever received. It’s…
