Valee – Shell + I Got Whatever (Double Video Drop)
Hard-working Chicago emcee Valee just dropped two visuals to two equally bangin’ tracks. Both videos to Shell and I Got Whatever were hosted on Elevator and directed by LVTRKEVIN x LVTRTOINNE who definitely know what they’re doing. The songs and videos have been making a lot of noise on Twitter as both song and visual…

20NVR – Get Ready (New Track)
Get Ready? I’m ready guys. Up and coming Maryland hip hop group 2NVR definitely know how to start their career off right with this new single. They’ve got me heavily anticipating their upcoming EP NVR, and other blogs and hip hop fans are starting to take notice . There are quiet a few members of NVR (which…

Maurice Moore – C’est La Vie (New Track)
Maurice Moore just put a huge grin on my face on this windy, grey and cold Chicago October night. He has a soothing voice and displays it so well on his new Fader.com premiered track C‘est La Vie. If you aren’t familiar with the French language; the song’s title translates to: that’s life. It’s no…

Mark Edmond – Hell Naw (New Track)
Mark Edmond submitted his new song Hell Naw and I freaked out a bit. He’s from Broward County, Florida and you can definitely hear that southern influence (just listen to his voice.) I’m not sure what that deep voice sample is, but DeAndre Freeman (the producer) probably knew it would put Hell Naw on the map.…

A$ton Matthews – Coldest Night In Hell (New Track)
After the Noisey premiered track Desperado (which we loved) A$ton Matthews decided to drop off another gem in Coldest Night In Hell. Brick Flair always raps with tons of energy, but this is on another level even for him. Producer Velous and A$ton always work well together, but this has to be my favorite collaboration between the two. Look…

Bijan Amir – Wild (Instrumental EP)
I’m new to bijan amir, but his new 2 track instrumental EP was enough to win me over. This shit is just amazing. I guarantee you’ve never heard anything like this before, especially as an instrumental album. The cover of the Wild EP is a beautiful drawing of what looks like a gorilla just uncaged.…

K.eYE.D + Thelonious Martin – POOLSCLOSING (New Album)
Virginia’s K.eYe.D & Chicago’s master producer Thelonious Martin connect in a BIG way on their newly released collaborative EP POOLSCLOSING. Martin has crafted some of his best instrumentals on this one. K.eYe.D provides a unique and complementary voice to his dusty beats. Take a listen to highlights UBERNOWHERE and Dark Silverware (Angela) to hear the…
