ANXT has become a regular on FFD – and for good reason. When he drops music, it’s always a star-studded event. It all started with his Watching Paint Dry instrumental EP (yep, he raps and produces) followed with a plethora of dope singles and another impressive EP. 

His latest, Baptized, is my favorite of his discography & is the latest single from his upcoming album Keep Your Eyes Straight And Your Mouth Shut. We were blessed with the first single back in March, which built his buzz immensely. Baptized is a sinister record where ANXT confronts his fears and demons, rapping in a slow form flow that is hard to ignore. His pain and passion are evident from the jump – lyrically, vocally, and in his instrumental choice. beatsinmybackpack provided the trap fused beat with elements of lo-fi. The title holds much merit, and is important to note before spinning the record.
