Al-One The Remedy Drops Homegrown Project “Back 2 The Northwest”

We’ve talked about Al-One The Remedy extensively over here at flowsfordays. He’s one of Portland’s most talented MC’s and has been in the game for over 13 years. Back in June, he released one of my favorite EP’s of the year, and just 6 months later he’s back with a new project. Back 2 The Northwest is used as a celebration for his new record label Stand Alone Records. This is a true homegrown project, with west coast production and features from some of his best friends. Lovely, Tope, KP, and the like add their diverse talents to the LP, alongside his new labelmate Pele Won. The album is one Al’s more eclectic projects, but you’ll still hear his ferocious rhymes and lyrical genius. His creativity shines even brighter, and his experimentation shows growth. The album will be available on vinyl soon, so be sure to follow him on Twitter for all updates.
