The Better Half (Best SoundCloud Songs From December 1-15th)

Hello faithful readers. Welcome to our bi-monthly series The Better Halfflowsfordays will be curating a playlist showcasing the best SoundCloud releases in the last 15 days (give or take, depending on how many days are in the month.) Instead of perusing through your SoundCloud feed, you will now have a simple way to hear the best of the best in one easy to navigate playlist. All you have to do is press play.

I’m a little late (my apologies) but I truly think this is our best playlist yet. I’ve listened to every track at least 10 times…quiet honestly these are some of the only songs I’ve been playing for the last two weeks. Only a few are submissions so we can provide you with totally new discoveries. As always we have focused on less “commercial” artists (besides the INSANE track from Young M.A, the freestyle from Vic Mensa and the crazy collab of Lil Bibby and 21 Savage.) I do have to mention M.A has recently landed in hot water with Chicagoians over her Philly’s Hot 99 freestyle, which I am very disappointed about. But EAT is still one of the craziest tracks I’ve heard all winter and it must be mentioned.

We’ve even peppered in a few instrumentals as well… I’m really getting into full albums of pure beats. There is a lot to discover…maybe we’ll cover that soon. One of my favorite tracks of the first half of December is the Supa Bwe, Fight Me + Sunny Woodz collaboration, No Napkins. That entire EP is complete fire and is highly recommended. It stands as some of my favorite work from Supa to date. There is a lot to come for Fight Me as member Ug Vavy told me about it a few weeks ago in a very candid interview

As always do your thing on the playlist. Play it straight through, give a few tracks that peek your interest a try, and if you are feeling a particular song, give the artist a follow. I have worked with a lot of these guys and they are all humble and talented.
