Säge, The 64th Wonder (feat. Orlando Coolridge) – A Stardust Memory (Video)
Man…Sage has been killing it. He recently put out the audio to song A Stardust Memory getting his MF Doom on. I usually have to go to older (and classic) albums to hear music like this, but Sage has brought it right into the city of Chicago. Right after the track dropped he threw the official…

xander. – loveinacoffeeshop (New Instrumental)
I’m always happy to find and post a new instrumental gem. Today we’ve got loveinacoffeshop by a new find xander. I’m actually at a coffee shop right now and have a first hand experience of this as background noise. It makes for a perfect backdrop to the people currently ruffling their newspapers, sipping annual Christmas…

Marko Stat$ Has Made His Mark In Chicago…Now He’s Ready To Go Global (Exclusive Interview)
I’ve seen the growth of Chicago’s underground movement, especially in the last few months. It’s always been pretty strong, but more and more artists have been racking up SoundCloud plays across the city’s eclectic neighborhoods. There’s no way you can hear/see all the music/videos + tapes hitting the web everyday, but blogs help. One cat…

Amon – A Hunnid (Video)
San Diego’s Amon may hold the title for the most posts on flowsfordays. It’s kind of expected as dude drops music at an astounding rate. We knew he’d find success so we caught him early by speaking with him just a few weeks after we became live in August (of this year.) He’s continued his…

Coach Tev (feat. Blake Cris + Oracle Jones) – Midnight Cruiser (New Track)
Using live instruments in hip hop songs is a dying art. Chicago leads the way in this endeavor, but I was always hoping it spread into other sectors. Midnight Cruiser is a wonderful example of this sometime taxing, but beautiful approach to music. This is rising Dallas emcee Coach Tev‘s 4th record of the year…

Benji (feat. LocateEmilio & LateNite) -Triple Threat (New Track)
My man Benji hit me with this new banger from himself, LocateEmilio and LateNite and I’m loving it. Everyone gets their due verses in and truly do make a forceful trio. LateNite has been giving us r&b tinged bedroom heaters for two weeks now which are definitely worth checking out. LateNite does numbers on all his…

Fadah – Like 21 (New Track)
Chicago’s Fadah has been going hard with the #FadahFridays, giving us newness at the end of every working week. He’s just given us a highlight of the series with Like 21. Fadah’s deep voice has always appealed to me, and hearing his cooing bars is where I personally think he sounds best. On the bottom of…

Chi Truth – Stress (Video)
Chi Truth has been buzzing around Chicago (specifically University Park) and is continuing his run with his new video to Stress. JustMobWill provides a minimal, yet bass heavy beat in which Chi lays down his confidence in his music career. He isn’t nervous for what’s to come. Putting in work can be taxing, but it’s well…
