flowsfordays Premiere: AWillThaGreat – On My Own (New Track)
We’ve been following AWillThaGreat for quite some time. Back in October we were so inspired by his song Goin’ Up that we hit him up about participating in our dissection interview series. He happily obliged and we conducted one of my favorite interviews to date. He dropped another celebrated track, Temporary, which at the time…

Hittz, Smylez + Killa Kellz – Pay For It (Video)
Hittz, Smylez + Killa Kellz link up for a hard hitting new visual titled Pay For It. There is a high amount of energy that is equally matched by the video directed by Ogun Pleas Films. There is even some archived footage of Smylez since he passed. Smylez was a promising artist and producer out of Chicago, and his…

Koz-B – The Greyz (Video)
Getting this submission from Koz-B was a blessing. He just dropped the official music video to his single The Greyz and I’m all about it. He evokes his inner demon and isn’t scared to be different. I usually dread listening to a 6 minute song but it was easy to get through and quiet enjoyable. Koz…

JoFred Estilo – Problems (New Track)
JoFred (vocal contributor of the group Chinza//Fly) has been dropping music at an alarming rate. Problems is his third drop in just a few weeks. I’ve never heard a rapid fire flow full of autotune sound so good. DJ of The Innovatorz is on the boards and compliments Jo Fred well. Eddie Sanchez also came through for an epic…

Jay Wonder – World Premier (New EP + Review)
Jay Wonder is the essence of classic hip hop. His newest EP World Premier is out of this world and took me back to the 90’s cats who freestyled on Stretch and Bobbito (please look them up if you haven’t heard of the radio show…there is also an excellent documentary on them on Netflix.) It’s a…

Bekoe – Never (Video)
Illanoize founder + CEO Bekoe has been on a hot streak. He dropped his Everybody Dies freestyle just last week and has decided to follow it up with the official music video to Never. The song was released at the top of the year and is one of my favorites from him. The Passport Trace…

Zip Dot – Ignorant Shit (New Track)
Chicago’s Zip Dot has just given us a great loosie in the form of Ignorant Shit. It’s easily my favorite song from him…producer Madman Zen knows how to create a pulsating bass heavy beat for Zip to go crazy on. Zip is at his best on this one with a menacing flow and great energy.…
