Private Party – Real Ones (New Track)
Real Ones from California duo Private Party hit me at the perfect moment today. It’s been a rough couple of days for me…mostly centered around the pain of letting people go that aren’t good for me. This is one of the central themes to the new track along with being appreciative of the ones that stay down for…

Will Static (feat. Smoov) – Too Long (New Track)
It’s been almost a year since Milwaukee’s Will Static has given us music. He has finally broken the cycle with appropriately titled Too Long. Will has upped his game with more fluid rhymes, a stronger voice, and ability to make a catchy song that can easily be replayed. Producer Classix provides an eerie beat that could…

Wil Akogu Has A Story To Tell (Exclusive Interview)
Chicago’s Wil Akgou has a remarkable way of drawing you in. His music, his visuals, and his presence in general is thought out, compelling, and personal. Last year he dropped a hell of a project in the Language of The Soul EP (above) and some loosies that have garnered thousands of plays. After discovering this…

Ausar – Squad Anthem (New Track)
Ausar’s project The 6th Page Letter was in my top 5 favorite tapes of 2016. Hands down. It has done huge numbers and has received high and well deserved praise. It seems Ausar has some in the vault as he has unleashed another beautiful record in Squad Anthem. The song is almost a short memoir centralized around…

Gee$ – No Regrets (New Track)
I’m not too familiar with the Virginia hip hop scene, but Virginia Beach native Gee$ has inspired me to get in tune. He’s been dropping steady tracks almost every month, but No Regrets is the cream of the crop. Production lays in the hands in up and coming beatsmith CamGotHits who has begun to prove…

Freequency – Sunset Music (New EP)
The Sunset Music EP from Freequency is full of summery vibes, feel good verses, and soothing beats. The Austin, Texas native goes above and beyond expectations since his last project Crafted Clarity. You can hear the obvious growth in the artist…and other blogs are taking notice. Earmilk even premiered the song just a few days ago. The site…

Corey Lee – Corey Album Coming Part 2 (New Track)
Corey Lee’s management pretty much did my job in their submission to Corey Album Coming Part 2. It included everything you need to know about this buzzing emcee and the song, so I’ll just post it below. One thought: This is dope. Coming from Philadelphia it seems like you have to work twice as hard to receive…
