Prizm – Lay Me Out (New Track)
We don’t get many submissions from guys out of Minneapolis, (this actually may be the first time) so this is a welcomed surprise. I’m not as familiar with the hip hop scene out there as I’d like to be, so I’m glad I’m starting somewhere. It might be a little controversial to describe this new song…

Kay Eye – Slowbucks (New Track)
Chicago’s Kay Eye has been on our pages quite often– and for good reason. He is a true spitter, able to make pure lyricism interesting and catchy. From his visuals to his loose cuts, he has incredible amounts of potential (so much so that we did a huge review of his last record.) For his newest…

Keag (feat. Veech) – Product Of My Past (New Track)
Wisconsin stand up. Keag is a buzzing artist out of the Cheese State who is as talented as he is unique. He’s only released 5 songs via SoundCloud, but artists, bloggers, and industry professionals are already taking notice. Just a month ago, he dropped a melodic single in Feel…

Tawobi (feat. Patnelso) – Too Short (New Track)
Tawobi is a fellow HBC member (see our profile on the Philly collective here) who makes music for the oddballs. He is great at distorting his vocals, using crushing, experimental production, and adding unconventional choruses. His newest song, Too Short, goes in a different direction that is more accessible and easier on the ears. Don’t worry – his personality still…

WiLL iS CHiLLiN – Burn (Video)
I wrote an extensive review on WiLL iS CHiLLiN’s album Moody when it dropped back in December. It was necessary, as I called it one of my favorite mixtapes out of Chicago. He even had a listening party with performances by Marko $tats, Gino Speaks, and himself (footage below.) He already gave us the first visual off…
