Chicago’s Kay Eye has been on our pages quite often– and for good reason. He is a true spitter, able to make pure lyricism interesting and catchy. From his visuals to his loose cuts, he has incredible amounts of potential (so much so that we did a huge review of his last record.)
For his newest banger, Slowbucks, he’s once again grabbed producer Fake Sauney. Smart move – as their collaborations turn out amazing. Kay switches things up with melodic vocals, wordplay, and an impressive use of flows. Don’t sleep on this guy…big things are coming for him.
