In August I wrote favorably about doola’s EP Meanwhile. While doola was the star of the show, no chilliams also laced two tracks with an equally impressive display of eclectic lyricism and true talent. I had no doubt in my mind that he would continue to make memorable music. He has dropped a fair amount since then, and one I TOTALLY slept on was his October release DRUGS, SEX, ROCK n ROLL.

The self directed music video is his artistic vision that is just as important as the song itself. In the beginning shot, you’ll see him on a couch with his dog against the album artwork of Mac Miller’s breakthrough mixtape Faces, who, without a doubt, inspires him musically and perhaps personally. no chilliams is humorous, unique, and a wordsmith with a razor sharp edge.
