It’s been over a year since we checked in with Nolan The Ninja, and shame on us. The Detroit MC & producer has had an evolution of sorts, and has changed his moniker to just NOLAN. He’s still the battle rhymer that we’ve come to know, but his flow, production style, and overall vibe has a lighter tone. To signify this stylistic changed, he’s put out a new visual titled Numb.

It’s easy to see (and hear) how relaxed NOLAN is on this self-directed visual, strolling down the street, talking his shit, and coming into his own in front of our very eyes. He spits at an easy pace, but you’ll still need to pay attention to fully take in his witty and often hilarious bars about girls he fucks with, mumble rappers just trying to eat, and clever one liners.
