A week ago we introduced you to a rising new talent out of Chicago who hasn’t stopped plugging along. Proof? Peep his newest record Bae. Love songs come a dime a dozen in the hip hop universe, and many can be stale and overdone in concept and structure. The aforementioned Chizlonies The Lord doesn’t follow trends on this track, and it works to his advantage. He pours his heart out to a romantic interest with heartfelt lyrics, AND still makes it a jam. With a bouncy, shimmering beat and a heap of bass, Chizlonies puts it all on the line for a girl he’s truly digging.
Don’t sleep on the the beginning verse from Bradenton, FL artist, PSD. His lyrical approach to the production adds complexity and versatility to Bae.
