Chicago’s Plug Migo hit our pages back in May with his music video Gracias. It was a strong visual and one of Plug’s best records. He doesn’t skimp on nonchalant vocals and intensely dark lyrics – best accentuated with his recent Ratchet Love Tape. The EP’s single Too Bad hit my inbox a few weeks ago and loved how honest he was about a girl that was tearing him apart. Further accentuating the sadness is production by DJ Pumba who brings the best out of Migo. Although he can sound odd to undeveloped ears, he is a poet at heart and can put together infectious tracks no matter the subject matter.
