Chicago’s RYEN is no stranger to music, formerly part of the A.S.A. Project which dropped one of the best EP’s of 2016. The 23-year-old singer/songwriter has been hard at work recording with PVTSTCK and making his debut as a solo artist with previously released Studio. It’s obvious he sings from the heart, repping for the lovers either lonely or in relationships. RYEN often records at home, sharing bedroom jams that stick with you no matter how long or short. His second single Nirvana is just a minute and a half, but stands out as a seductive gem with electro and R&B vibes. The drop halfway through moves into a melodic wonderland with brief but powerful lyrics. Relatability comes in the center of Nirvana, staying stuck on the one person we first fell in love with. RYEN mixes, produces, writes, and even plays keyboard (on aforementioned Studio) showing flowsfordays, and hopefully the music world, he can do it all with ease.
