Portland’s Mic Capes first impressed me in July when he dropped a collab piece with Vinnie Dewayne  He reps his city hard and has the lyrical prowess and story-telling to match. Closing out his landmark year, he’s hit us with his newest visual, Well Known. The Puurple World directed visual is off his EP with producer Drae Slapz which has put them both in the limelight. Mic is known for dropping cinematic visuals, and once again proves he doesn’t take the medium lightly. The North Portland native takes us on a journey in his Johns neighborhood for a story about decision making, influence, and power delivered with an easily recognizable passion.
