It’s been 4 months since his comeback record and our Q&A, and our prediction was right – he has taken the Chicago scene by storm. Jay has an enate ability to pick a wide-range of production, and still throw punches through never ending bars. The production by CEO Beatz is reminiscent of 90’s Mario blips with warped notes and a bit of a modern touch. Both Jay and Chicago mainstay Ajani Jones are in attack mode, bringing metaphorical and braggadocious wordplay that will leave you dizzy.
