Skipp Whitman has been on a visual rampage this year. Since his very first submission, he stood out with his eccentric humor, personality, and skills on the mic. Not only that, his music videos have great concepts, direction, and overall quality.  From our first post in May to today’s Slow Down, I’ve seen a progression. He’s still the funny Skipp I’ve come to know but displays his lyrical skills confidently. Ironically Slow Down is anything but, as Skipp delivers a rapid-fire flow with braggadocious rhymes that are well warranted. Pat Anthony & Jonny Forance worked wonders behind the lens, most noticeably setting their camera just in front of Skipp as he walks and raps. If that’s not enough, Skipp produced Slow Down. He is one dedicated artist and no one trick pony.
