We’ve had our eye on Chicago emcee C$ since he submitted his song Brand New back in October. We dissected the song with him, and even featured it on our best of list for 2016. Since then he’s dropped a few loosies, prepping us for his monstrous album #ProjectWave. We also posted a review, urging everyone to at least give it one full listen.

Just a few days ago C$ decided to go back in the vault and bless us with an official music video to Glory, which was featured on his debut mixtape #MoneyWave. In the track by track commentary, C$ said he wanted the song to focus on the ‘pathway to success.’ The visual (shot by APJ Films) embodies just that, as he completely outdid himself setting the mood and utilizing shadows, colors, and props.

Another important aspect of the record is the production by Cartier Jones, and feature from Breezy. Breezy brings the bar for bar energy from the get go, and C$ follows it right back.
