G.Thraxxx – Irrelevant (New Track)

If you’ve been a regular reader of flowsfordays you know I’m a big fan of honest and relatable music. Chicago’s G.Thraxxx incorporates both of those elements into his songs, made even clearer by his new song Irrelevant. He has a strong message with this one, described below:

With all the unfortunate events happening in the city and around the country I felt it was the right time for my new song “Irrelevant” produced by Jc. Of Imaginary Kids. A song I wrote addressing being separated from a handful of my brothers due to incarceration, as well as losing my dad to a car accident when I was younger and a recent breakup.

The intro ad-libs “I’m feeling like fuck it,” is a perfect summary of his frustration with life; incorporating family, societal, and emotion issues. He also speaks on his personal struggles with addiction, giving the listener direct access into his current stance in life. This is as conscious as it comes, and luckily he has the flow and bars to match.
