The intro to the Calamari EP is totally worth playing all the way through. It’s a conversation Kris Leshaun is having with an un-accounted for individual about his work ethic and his hope that he’ll meet new people that will share his drive in the music industry.

Even if he goes it alone I have no doubt he’ll make it. His rhyme scheme and flow are reminiscent of early Joey Bada$$ and Earl Sweatshirt. The 10 tracks portray an artist who is more than a mere rapper. There are some great artists featured such as Cloud2800, Eddie Vega, (who submitted the project) and many more. I highly recommend giving this a thorough listen.
