Zip Dot – #FreeX + Top (New Tracks)
Chicago artist Zip Dot has been on a winning streak. He’s been dropping banger after banger doing huge numbers. Blogs have picked up on his talent as he’s gotten an exclusive premiere for Top (Mindset Music) and #FreeX (Illanoize). My favorite cut of these two is definitely #FreeX, which is an ode to currently incarcerated popular…

Rah – Add It Up (New Track)
Milwaukee’s Rah celebrated his birthday just a few weeks ago and decided to give US a gift in Add It Up which is a self produced cut. He relays that he will continue to keep it simple in his music career, which will hopefully give him success and accolade. He stays reflective, but sounds like he’s having…

Kay Eye – Mourn Me/When I Die (Video)
Wow. Kay Eye (formerly KID Will) just dropped a damn movie. It’s an 8 minute epic visual to his song Mourn Me/When I Die. This is off his project 90’s Baby which dropped last year. These were separate tracks on the tape, but combining them was genius. His performance on this is insane, giving off a…

Ras – Get Away (Video)
Ras hits our pages for the second time with the music video to soothing track Get Away. The video directed by Killing Em Visuals is simple but effective, giving us a glimpse of Ras’ confident nature. Get Away is easy listening, but she still packs in some nice bars. You can stream the song which just hit SoundCloud.

Mpulse – Actions (New Track)
Mpulse kills it once again. Actions has a bit of a different vibe then his last few releases but he continues to speaks on relatable topics. A theme of the track is how “actions speak louder than words” which I wholeheartedly believe. He also rhymes about his desire to really make it and support his…

eGo Jaleel + The 25th Hour – Who Is He (New Track)
A few weeks ago I hung out in a home studio with eGo Jaleel‘s manager, The 25th Hour and a few more artists. It was a ball and I really appreciated them inviting me over. I had heard Who Is He previously, but I finally heard it out of better speakers at the spot. It…

Hittz, Smylez + Killa Kellz – Pay For It (Video)
Hittz, Smylez + Killa Kellz link up for a hard hitting new visual titled Pay For It. There is a high amount of energy that is equally matched by the video directed by Ogun Pleas Films. There is even some archived footage of Smylez since he passed. Smylez was a promising artist and producer out of Chicago, and his…

Koz-B – The Greyz (Video)
Getting this submission from Koz-B was a blessing. He just dropped the official music video to his single The Greyz and I’m all about it. He evokes his inner demon and isn’t scared to be different. I usually dread listening to a 6 minute song but it was easy to get through and quiet enjoyable. Koz…
