Zach Smith + Rich The Kid – Run It (New Track)

Zach Smith has a hit on his hands. He’s done well with previous releases, but his newest record with Rich The Kid is getting major play. It’s not much of a surprise as Rich is one of the most popular hip hop artists in the game right now. That’s not to say Zach doesn’t contribute…

  • Sammie J. & Bowie – Best Friends (New Track)

Sammie J. & Bowie – Best Friends (New Track)

Sammie J. & Bowie (aka Diamond Division) have been making music since high school and it’s pretty evident they’ve gotten better and better with every release. Their most recent, Best Friends, is their strongest cut yet with a focus on ratchet (yet catchy) lyrics about everything from their devotion to money, smoking good, and girls.…

  • Campaign Fugi (feat. Bash) – Campaign Way (New Track)

Campaign Fugi (feat. Bash) – Campaign Way (New Track)

I recommend playing Campaign Way with some bass heavy headphones or speakers, as the production from AT will kill your ears in the best way possible. Up and coming Chicago artist Campaign Fugi + feature Bash use echoey and deep vocals on this cut to give us CF’s best song yet. So far AT has…

SlurRty – Cups Full Of Lean (New Track)

SlurRty has been getting hella attention throughout the underground scene with almost 900 followers on SoundCloud and over 2K on Twitter. He’s great at making trap infused beats to compliment his slow and syrupy vocals and flow. His newest release Cups Full Of Lean utilizes both of these signature sounds into an infectious drug induced banger. As…

JXHN SCXTT – sour worms (New Instrumental)

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an instrumental but I’m glad to start off with JXHN SCXTT‘s sour worms. It’s 5 minutes of conflicting sounds going in and out of hip hop inspired hi hats and dark electronic undertones. You can hear JXHN’s moody shifts throughout making this an interesting loosie all the way through. JXHN is…

  • Nick Taylor – Memory Lane (The Best Song You’ll Hear All Day)

Nick Taylor – Memory Lane (The Best Song You’ll Hear All Day)

From the album artwork to introspective subject matter to confident flows, Nick Taylor’s Memory Lane is hip hop at it’s finest. He is an honest emcee out of Chicago who isn’t afraid to be vulnerable and show his emotional side. If you enjoy Memory  Lane definitely check out his previous record Run It Up. Matter a…

  • Cey The Ghost (feat. Adia) – Pro$peck (New Track)

Cey The Ghost (feat. Adia) – Pro$peck (New Track)

Back in October of last year we wrote about Cey The Ghost’s incredible one liners. Our dissection series interview with the Chicago rapper did numbers as we got an exclusive look into his thought process with then new track Untouchable. New song Pro$peck (featuring Adia) is his newest record that you’ll need to rewind a few times…

  • Nigel Roxbury – Get Through (New Track)

Nigel Roxbury – Get Through (New Track)

A song with R&B mixed with hip hop + dance is always a treat. Not every track with these elements can make the mark, but Get Through by Nigel Roxbury definitely does. Producer Donato drew me in with the beat reminiscent of contemporary disco. Nigel is able to keep a steady flow and ask a romantic interest:…
