There is so much talent in Chicago it has become impossible to track. Another reminder came today when I finally watched J. Lamar’s Construction Ahead music video. The promising emcee can switch from a concocted flow to a fury of intelligent and descriptive bars that contain zero filler. Although Construction Ahead is a brief intro to the man behind the mic, it packs a punch. Equal credit must go to Ryder Visuals.
