Stay long enough to hear that song, 305, and you might just find your new favorite record. Mix is a hungry 22-year-old MC out of Chicago that already shows signs of the next to pop in the city.

I needed some time with 305 before I begun to hear its gritty genius. The Bruffer Beatz record is fun and flashy, painting a picture of the Miami nightlife. The potency comes in the track’s addictive chorus, and unforeseen pop sensibilities. Mix boasts over 200 followers (as of now) and over 1K streams on 305 alone. I’m highly anticipated his next release which I hope will be sooner rather than later.
