We’ve all been through adversity at some point in our lives. Although difficult, there are ways in which to lessen the pain, and possibly even turn it into something positive. That’s exactly what Jacksonville rapper Mavrick Savvy did on his new single and visual to Paradice. He’s been through the ringer, and promotes honesty and a forward motion.

The song is not just inspirational, it’s a great display of Mavrick’s skill as a lyricist. He chooses pockets to rhyme over with confidence and reflection, AND kills his own chorus. Spoken word and melodic, catchy and engaging – it shows the range of his abilities as an artist. The video was filmed in Denver in a baggage claim area with a performance by Derrick Campbell. Much credit goes to the producer of the intricate instrumental, Keith Davis, with Hamsquad Productions.

Paradice is the second single to Mavrick’s upcoming album More Than You Know, which will be dropping by the end of the year.
