Chicago has a rich history of people who are determined to make it by any means. Sometimes, due to circumstances, the “any means” isn’t positive, but despite that we move forward. The important thing is we learn from our mistakes and become better from them. On, “Bands,” Chicago’s own, HM Bando is just trying to find that realization.

Keeping melodic energy at a high priority and perhaps loosening his grip a little, Bando quite possibly could’ve stumbled onto a hood anthem. With him and Von Locc Da Kushman both providing solid performances, expect to see “Bands” catching steam sooner rather than later.
