The duo of Lloyd Dotdot & JE$$E, aka theWHOevers, have been consistently dope for damn near a decade, and haven’t laced my ears with a bad song or project yet. The Chicago based group are incredibly strong songwriters, producers, vocalists, rhymers & performers, and their talent and dedication have built up an ever growing following.

Lloyd & JE$$E just hit me up about their brand new single, G4B, which didn’t disappoint. They’ve gone back to their roots on this one, using 90’s boom bap with modernized instrumentation. Their bread and butter is still present – gorgeous vocals, a contagious chorus, potent rhymes, and a strong message. G4B is an acronym for “Goin’ For Broke,” their statement of sticking to your guns and never giving up. These guys are the poster-child for the song’s content, as they’ve never been afraid to mix styles, break boundaries, and turn heads.

Their upcoming project Down to Earth is set to drop sometime this year, and the anticipation is high. Get in tune above.
